**MAM & SEESTER VISIT**

A FEW WEEKENDS AGO MOTHER JOYCE AND ANNEKE CAME FOR A VISIT! WOO! THEY WERE HERE FROM THURSDAY TO SUNDAY AND WE HAD A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND! THURSDAYS ACTIVITIES INCLUDED: MOM AND ANNEKE MEETING CHASE( he called mom "amys mommy" and called Anneke "sister" hes so dang cute), SEEING WHERE I LIVE, MEETING CHASES PARENTS, EATING AT THE DANG BEST SANDWICH SHOP EVER, MEETING SAM!, WATCHING HAIRSPRAY AND EATING THE BUTTERY-EST, SALTY-EST POPCORN EVER IN MY LIFE!

FRIDAY WE WENT TO MT VERNON, WHERE GEORGE WASHINGTON LIVED AND IT WAS REALLY REALLY FUN! WE GOT TO WALK THROUGH HIS MANSION AND SEE LOTS OF NEAT STUFF! PLEASE ENJOY A FEW PHOTOS...

SATURDAY we went into DC and saw most of the sites...we rode around on a tourmobile and it took us around and we could get off and on wherever we wanted. Mom got to decide where we stopped since she'd never been there before! We saw lots of fun stuff but MY favorite was Arlington Cemetary and the changing of the gaurds at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. THAT was awesome! We also got to see where JFK is buried! It was really interesting! We also found Grandma Bayles' brothers name on the Vietnam Memorial Wall! Cool huh? And here are some pics from DC...there are a couple of us by a really pointy building...we heard that if ya rub the end youll have good luck, so of COURSE we had to touch it!

SUNDAY we got up early and went to Sacrament meeting in my small little branch, came home and changed then went to eat at Applebees. HEY! Anneke said that even apostles have to eat out on sundays when they travel, and since mom and anneke were traveling, it was justified! After that we came back to my house, loaded up the car and went and picked up Sam and headed to the Washington DC Temple. Oh. My. Pretty! I've seen it from the freeway, but never been up close yet....and it is GORGEOUS!! We had a good good time taking pictures (me, mom and anneke laughed our faces off at some of the pictures we took and Sam just sorta looked at us like we were morons. I guess ya had to be female to find humor in the pictures. But we had a good time!) Then we drove to the airport and dropped Mom and Anneke off. :( I was sad to have them leave but OOOOH i'm SO glad they got to come! It was such a fun weekend...the only thing that would have made it better would have been Andrea being here! and NO ANDREA! i'm not just saying that! i'm serious! we missed you!

NEW YORK!! NEW YORK!!

So i finally decided to put up some pictures from my trip to new york at the beginning of the month! it was soo much fun! i rode on the subway(which was DEATHLY hot), ate a piece of real new york pizza(yes i folded it) and went to canal street and got a 'prada' purse and some chanel glasses! Oh, it was just so much fun, i loved it!

Hailee got pooped on by a pigeon as we were walking down the street...ive never laughed so hard in my life! 12. Wall St and Broadway sign..cool huh? 13. Ground Zero 14. This weird gold man was by the wall street bull...just hanging out doing nothing but being gold. I thought it was weird.. 15. Me and Hailee on the train from jersey to new york! 16. These weird statue of liberty people were all over and they seriously creeped me out! they charged 2 dollars to take a picture, But me and Hailee were sneaky and just took one quickly as we walked by :) 19. My Little Chase Friend && Temptations Concerto

Oooh a couple weekends ago I attended a Temptations concert with my friends Julie and Kami. Julie's family she nanny's for bought a whole bunch of tickets for the dads company and they ended up having a few extra so me and Kami went to use up the $50 tickets! We were definitely the youngest ones there and part of the small fraction of white people there, but we still had a good time! The Four Tops sang first, then the Temptations. I actually knew quite a few of the songs so it was fun to sing along sometimes! And it was just fun to watch everyone around dancing and singing. We were sitting on the grass on a HUGE hill and there were HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of people surrounding us, so there was a lot to look at and laught at! It was so stinking hot and humid that it was hard to REALLY enjoy ourselves(the picture is of us being miserable from the heat), but we still had fun.

Chase is getting so big and so much fun. He learns new words every day and is starting to put things into a sentence. Mostly just "thanks amy", "hi amy", "bye amy" and things like that. But still! Way way cute...And he can't say his brother Kyle's name so he calls him Connor(his other brother). I will say "Ky.....le" and he'll copy me and say it just fine and then i say "okay say Kyle" and he says "Connor" :) He's such a cute little kid! Right now he's sitting on my lap playing with my face. He's so sleepy....we've been up since 6:30. ugh ugh ugh. So hopefully he'll have a long nap today! Please bless...
