Oh, there's just so much to say i don't even know where to start! :)
I'll start with a little update on our lives lately!
Last week we were soo busy the week flew by. We weren't even home enough in the evening for me to make dinner..i didn't cook one meal last week, that was weird! I can't remember now what we did monday, but we did something...tuesday night we had a bunch of friends over for the Suns playoff game, wednesday night we went to our friends house for a bbq and played the Wii (that was soo fun!) Thursday night we were over to Sam's parents house doing family stuff and barely made it home in time for The Office, and then Friday night we had our friends over AGAIN for the Suns game and Kava! Saturday I had to go to work from 4-8 so Sam went with me and the kids LOOOOOVE Sam, so it was fun to have him there. And it made it so much easier to get 5 kids bathed and ready for bed! :) When we first got there, the dad Gary handed me an envelope and in it was 4 tickets to the Diamondbacks baseball game! That was exciting in itself, but then we looked at them and they were on the 5th row right behind home plate!! Each ticket was worth $215 dollars, and he gave us FOUR! Can you even believe that? We were/are so excited! We thought about selling 2 of the tickets, but Sam's friend Jay is the BIGGEST baseball fan ever, and is crazy about the D-backs, so we decided to take him and his wife with us! They are sooo excited too, so it'll be a good time! Tonight me and sam went to the mall and I got a Dbacks t-shirt and Sam got a hat so we can support the team! :)
Anyway, when we got home I got a call from Sam's manager, Blayne, for the security company he is selling for this summer in Virginia Beach. I applied for the office manager job there in VA and the corporate office did a phone interview with me and offered me the job! So that was fun, but Blayne called me last week and asked if we could be out there the first of May, which we can't cuz I work til the 9th and Sam works this weekend too! So he said that they might give my job to someone else who is already out there! So I was so bummed out and worried about a job out there! But when he called me tonight he said that the regional manager who is over Blayne said that he talked to the 2 ladies that interviewed me and they said I had the most impressive interview and application out of everyone this whole year! And thats coming from corporate! HOW COOL IS THAT?! Anyway, so basically the point of the phone call was to tell me that I still have the job, and hearing that I impressed corporate so much made the regional manager want to hold the position for me! I'M SO EXCITED!!! It will work our perfectly because the office will be out of one of the apartments in the complex we'll live in, so I can just walk a few doors down to work everyday and Sam will take the truck to go knock doors and sell! It is so perfect!
We seriously have been so stinkin blessed. Gary & Vanessa (my bosses) told me that I'd have my job when we get back, which is so great. And then I get this good job in Virginia..things are working out for us! And we've been so blessed financially, we've been able to pay our bills and take care of things as they come up without any worry. Which I'm very proud of because anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not the best with money, either is Sam! But we have been smart with it, and have paid our tithing! Tithing has been a big Testimony builder for me...even before we were married.I've seen so many blessings come from it! My friends that I lived with for a few months before we got married just gave me a truck one day! Just handed it over to me...and its a nice little truck! And their friend who I met gave me and sam enough money for our deposit so we could get an apartment, and he didn't even know us hardly. Blessings EVERYWHERE! We are so SOO thankful! And we are both so happy, we love being married, we have so much fun together and are always laughing. We are happy happy.
Well, I have blabbed on long enough, and my eyes are getting heavy from staring at the screen for so long! So this is the end...until next time :)
