UPDATE!!!

Holy moly, it's been so long since I've done anything on my blog...time for an update! Ok, so a few weekends ago I went to Utah for the weekend to see my family and to go to the New Kids On The Block concert with my sisters!!! It was such a fun weekend, I missed Sam like crazy, but it was so good to see my family! And the concert was AMAZING!!! I have so many videos and pictures, but here are some of my fav's!!

While I was home I was also able to get together with all my best friends from high school! It was so much fun.. and Oh, I promise I don't wear the same jacket every day, I just wore it to the concert cause I didn't want to take my big winter coat..so don't judge me. :)

It was such a fun time, I love my family SOO much!
Last weekend I went to see Twilight with my friend Kristina while Sam and her husband Justin watched their 2 little boys! It was fun to have a little girls night and watch the show! I liked it...it wasn't anything AMAZING, but it was entertaining..I'll definitely buy it when it comes out on video!!

This week was just normal for us and we spent Thanksgiving day with Sam's family. I was in charge of making the pies for everyone, so I made 2 chocolates, 1 Banana creme, 1 coconut creme, 1 peach, and then I bought a pumpkin and pecan! I had never made pie before, so I was pretty proud of myself! The peach one looked really ugly, but I guess it tasted good cause there wasn't any leftover!

We had a fun time with his family and then came back to our apt to relax and watch football. We were just hanging out and it started to POUR!! It was raining soo hard and so we decided to go out and play in it! :) We didn't stay out very long cause we got drenched so quick and it was so cold, but we had fun splashing in all the puddles!

I took the picture right as a rain drop went in my eye, haha. cute, i know.

Today me and our niece Ofa went to the play Annie with my boss Vanessa, and Owen and Annie! Vanessa had 2 extra tickets so she gave them to me, and it was SO much fun! The play was put on by kids and it was in a tiny little theatre, but it was really cute and we all loved it! Then me and Ofa went and got some Christmas decorations and came back here to our apartment and put up our tree and put some lights out on the balcony! It looks soo cute in here! Sam has been working all day, so I'm excited for him to get home and see it all! It's so fun to have our very own Christmas tree! :)

I put that little bouquet thingy together, I just bought those at wal-mart and stuck them all in a vase...it just adds a bit of christmas to our shelf :)



Anyway, that's pretty much it...everything else is the same! We're both working and just having fun! Our new thing lately is doing crosswords..we do one or two like every night together. :) We're getting better too, we can do one pretty quick now! Oh and we've been watching a lot of this guy..he is HILARIOUS!! This makes me laugh over and over again..he does swear in it once though, so sorry about that..

Well, that's about it for us...we're still very happy and in love!! :)

I'm going to go finish up the laundry and iron sam's shirt for church tomorrow, then go to bed!

I got my apartment all cleaned up and ready for Sunday, and got really bored, so I decided to play with some pictures just for fun.... and think they turned out pretty cute!

Yum Recipe

I just made some WAY good muffins...I got the recipe from Vanessa(my boss) and tried them out just now cause I took dinner to a lady in our ward who is sick and took a few muffins with it for dessert! They are SO easy, so I thought I'd share with everyone...just in case anybody wants to try them out!

All you need is:
1 Spice Cake Mix
14 oz. Pumpkin (like pumpkin pie filling stuff that comes in a can)
3/4 cup water
Mix those all up and bake them at 400 degrees for 15-17 mins!

I added some choc. chips to mine, I like them better that way. But they are great plain too!
I hope the lady likes them, and the meal I made her. I just made shepherds pie..and I made enough for me and Sam to eat as well. I just had some and the potatoes were kind of dry...bummer. Hopefully she won't judge me too much!


Well now I'm off to do REALLY fun and exciting things....THE LAUNDRY! WOOOO!!
Sam's working (of course) til midnight, so once again I'm just hanging out with myself...tomorrow is the last day of the fair, I CAN'T WAIT!! And in 2 weeks I'll be Utah/Idaho...I TOTALLY can't wait for that!

did somebody say boring?

Nothing exciting has been going on with us lately...Sam got a really bad burn on his finger the other night at work..that COULD be exciting, right? Except for the fact that it's actually kind of sad. I felt bad for the little guy...

Um, so that's seriously about it.. Sam will be done with the state fair this Sunday...I CANT WAIT! I've been missing him a lot cause he works every day til midnight, so it'll be nice to have him home with me in the evenings again! I love him a lot. He's so dang sweet. He bought me perfume the other day...just because. It smells amazing. I wish it was possible to smell via the computer so everyone could smell it. It's Ed Hardy perfume from The Buckle. It smells GREAT! Hmm, what else is new..OH my cute best friend Amanda found out she is having A GIRL! I'm so excited for her and her husband! She'll be such a cutie! And two more of my friends are pregnant right now as well...I'm slightly jealous, I'd love to have a baby soon. But then I come back to reality and realize I'm a crazed psycho woman for even THINKING about that right now.
Moving on.
I bought some new towels today, that's fun...umm....Ok. I'm boring myself right now, so I guess it's a good time to stop. :)

where i've been..

I'm bored. So I did this..kinda cool...I've been to 19 states..thanks to our trip across country :)

oh and my back is sore from getting rear-ended. luckily it didn't do any damage to our car.

but it did to my back. :(

the good and not so good, at all...

THE GOOD:

Sam's uncle Rob is going to give me a buddy pass! So that means I'll for sure be able to fly to Utah in Nov for only $99 round-trip! Woo hoo!!! I'm so excited..

THE NOT SO GOOD:
Today at work I took the kids on a walk. Owen and Miles rode their bikes, and I pulled the girls in a wagon! Miles was having a rough time cause he kept tipping over on the hills going up to peoples driveways, but I was able to catch him most the time since I was right behind him...but we were right in front of their neighbors house, and Miles went off the sidewalk a little bit and fell over...hard. :( Luckily he landed on grass AND was wearing the Cinderella helmet! (We couldn't find his, so he wore his sisters old one.. :) ) He fell pretty dang hard, and I picked him up and asked where it hurt and he said his arm, so I asked him to move it around to make sure it wasn't all sorts of broken, and he could move it just fine, so we walked home and he really only cried for about 5 mins, if that. We put an ice pack on it and he just hung out on the couch...a few hours later his Mom was getting ready to leave to a meeting, and we noticed he was holding his arm really funny against his body. So Vanessa asked him if it hurt and had him try moving it up and down, and he burst into tears while trying to move it. I noticed that his poor little elbow was a little big swollen too...so Vanessa decided to take him to the hospital to get it checked out. Two hours later they came back and Miles looked like this :

POOR LITTLE GUY!!
(he got cool stickers from the nurse and he put them on his arm that wasn't hurt, he was so proud :))
He has a fractured bone in his cute little arm. :( I felt so so so bad. I know it wasn't MY fault, but I was the one who was with him when it happened, and I was able to catch him on all his other falls, I don't know why I didn't get to him in time on the last one!!....But Vanessa said he was so brave and didn't even cry the whole time they were taking xrays and putting his cast on. He has to wear the cast and sling for at least a week. He has to go a special doctor next week to make sure its healing properly. He really was so brave and tough about it all..he's such a cute little man.
