A lot like The Mom

Today as I was cleaning up our little apartment I realized how much I'm like my mom...I just do a lot of the same things as her and I never really realized it 'til today! For example WE BOTH:

-get all the dishes done, and then put a little bit of hot soapy water in the sink and wipe off all the counters, and then rinse the dish cloth off in cold water
-like lighting candles in the bathroom after it's all clean...(well I dunno if she actually LIKES that, but I remember her doing that a lot when I lived at home) -like having a cute center piece on our table
-love baking a yum dessert, even though we KNOW we shouldn't!
-sleep with our feet sticking out of the covers
-hate having contention in our homes (in my case, apartment)
-love being surrounded by our family and friends
-have an awesome sense of humor, right mom?
-can't stand sleeping when its too hot -talk on the phone a lot....mostly to each other!
-love sticking in a good movie and popping some popcorn
-enjoy rainy cloudy days and being cozy inside
-like hearing rain
-think that Sam is a babe :)
-love having a clean house, and actually don't mind cleaning too much
-love to cook meals
-dance in the car when a good song comes on
-love a good back rub or having someone play with our hair

I know there are a lot more things too, but that's a good list! You get the point... I'm just really thankful for my amazing mom! I'm so glad she always cooked us good meals and set an example to all of us on how to cook..I think all of us Bayles kids know how to cook, and its because we grew up watching our mom cook every day! And I'm also glad she taught me how to clean..I never thought the day would come when I'd say I enjoy cleaning, but now that I'm married and me and Sam have our own little place I really do like keeping it clean and nice! Some days I'm a slacker and don't do a dang thing around the house...but hey, Sam still loves me! Anyway..just wanted to say thanks to my mom for being such a great example all these years! I LOVE YOU MADRE!!
