Last weekend my oldest and favorite sister named Anneke and her husband Tom were able to come down to AZ and visit! It was SOOO MUCH FUN!! I picked them up from the airport and we went to the State Fair to see Sam and eat some free frybread! We walked around for awhile and me and Anneke each got some Sham-Wow towels...I was/still am super pumped about those! Then we came to our little apartment and me and the sister took a nap while Tom watched college football.. Sam got came home from work around 5 and we all went to a cool little place called Tempe Marketplace (its just a bunch of stores and cool places to eat and live bands play there on weekends..i love it there) and ate at a place called Cadillac Ranch. The food wasn't AMAZING but it was still super fun just being there talking and laughing with A & T!
After that, we went and browsed around Best Buy and Target, then came back to our place and played Phase 10 Twist til midnight. :) Me and Sam had church at 9, so we all were up early and ate breakfast, then me and Sam went to church! Anneke and Tom took our car and went to the Cardinals vs. Cowboys football game! Sam's cousin Duece Lutui plays for the Cards, and he got them free tickets to the game..nice huh? Anyway, so they went to the game and had lots of fun! They had awesome seats and even though Tom's Cowboys didn't win (which is still such a huge huge shock..) they had a good time! They made it back here just in time to pack up and go back to the airport! I was so sad to see them leave...we had so much fun with them here, even though it wasn't for very long. But I was so happy to see some of my side of the family..I've been super homesick for them all, so it was nice! (The only bad thing about living in Mesa, is not being able to see my family...other than that I love it!)
I'm so mad that we didn't even take ONE picture while they were here...DUUH, but I do have a picture of them at the game, so here's that. :)
