Today I went with Vanessa and all the kids to the zoo! This month Owen is learning all about the rainforest (Vanessa home schools him) and so we all went to the zoo to see all the animals that live in the rainforest...and it was so much fun! I have only been to a few zoo's in my life so I think I was more excited than any of the kids! :) We had a lot of fun and learned lots about the animals. And oh! This was totally random, we were in line getting our lunch and I heard someone call my name, and so I turned around and saw Courtney Warburton, and her mom and 3 little sisters! (The Warburtons used to live in Franklin and are good friends of our family!) It was so crazy, I hadn't seen them in YEARS AND YEARS!! Courtney lives in Phoenix with her husband and baby girl, and her mom and sisters were just visiting! It was so fun to see them!
Anyway, the Zoo was full of fun, and I got some dang cute pictures...sorry there are a ton!!

These little guys, or girls, who knows, were so funny, Annie was eating a granola bar and they were eyeing the heck out of it..they came right up to the glass and were trying to grab it, it was pretty funny.
Ok THIS was cool. We got to go in RIGHT with the monkeys, like they were jumping around right above our heads and were close enough we could touch. It was really cool. This picture was taken with NO zoom. Yeah, thats how close we were, it was fun..

Seeing these Orangutans were my VERY VERY FAVORITE!! It was so fun to sit and watch them..the big ones were all lazy and just hanging out but the baby was ALL over the place and soo playful, it was so dang cute. I would have loved to sit there and watch all day..for real.
